🎧 Meet Michael. I started playing records, CDs and MP3s back in 1981. What began as a hobby has come full circle, and I’m now proud to be one of the area’s well-known and experienced DJs. My love of music, combined with seeing people enjoying themselves, is what gives me the buzz. Over the years, I’ve developed the experience and instinct to “read the audience” and understand what will get people up, dancing and having a great time. I truly believe that, with my musical knowledge and experience, I can build a dancefloor from scratch and keep the atmosphere upbeat and energetic throughout the night. My personal musical passion is Soul, Motown and R&B, but that’s certainly not where it ends! I also love playing the classic sounds of the 70s and 80s, along with music from across the decades to make sure there’s something for everyone. I don’t have a set list of tunes that I simply turn up and play, I believe that’s the lazy way of DJing. My job is to be different and, most importantly, to respond to the people in front of me. That said, I’m always happy to receive a playlist from the person celebrating. Your favourite songs and special requests can help shape the night and ensure we get the perfect mix of music for you and your guests.
